Study skills are extremely important. Throughout your life, you WILL have to remember things. When you are studying, a great tactic is planning your breaks. If you study for 30 minutes, then take a five minute break, and repeat that for 5 rounds, you can take a break for 20 minutes that fifth time. This will help your brain not feel too overwhelmed. Another study skill that you can use is to select a consistent place to study. Some people need total quiet while others can study well with music in the background (try classical music). The key is to find a comfortable place and study there regularly, such as the kitchen table, a desk, a favorite chair, bed, porch table, etc. When you study in the same spot, your brain gets used to working in that place and time. This will get your brain to work harder than it would if you study in random places at random times.
